For this weeks tutorials I wanted to find a good tutorial on how to add a pause button onto the players screen. I found a brilliant one on YouTube. It on the Channel KeySmash Studios

This was a very quick tutorial that only needed about 6 lines of code and then a few tweaks within your game and boom! We have a pause button on our game :))))

The next tutorial I looked at was I was finally found a quick and easy menu display tutorial from the same YouTube Channel. I am super happy with how easy it was. The tutorial was meant for games that had more than one level but I think adding a screen before playing my game can add a bit more of an effect to it overall.

  Alpha For this week, I wanted to add a few more bits to my game, the first thing I did this week, was I wanted to have a moving cube that went up and down as part of my course but I found the tutorials I came across very very long and I didn't want to spend that much time to only add one moving step into my game... I may find a few 'roll a ball' games on the app store to get inspiration for other obstacles and stuff to add instead. The next thing I did in my game was that I added background music. I am debating whether or not to add the music I selected to a menu screen instead of play mode as it could cause some people  to get distracted. I may replace or swap it out with a very quiet nature sound, like of the wind or something... screenshot I have since got rid of this layout above. But will keep to the theme of having a water feature etc. screenshot screenshot I think I'm meeting my weekly topics when it comes to my game and hope to start finishing the entire thing...

Game Brainstorm

 Four Possible Game Ideas. Game 1: For my first idea for a game it would be a ball balancing game. You have a starting point and have to make your way to the end without falling off. Each level would get more difficult when you level up. I think this idea would be not only really fun to make but it is simple yet exciting. I would make it visually pleasing the eye and have coolest details included as it could be a simple game to possible build so I could have more time in designing the objects and what the player sees on screen. It is the sort of game that has you biting your lip as it makes you want to complete each level to get further. I think this would be a game for all ages that would be effective. I have taken inspiration for this idea from the simple board game I use to play as a child.
