  Game Testing playtesting, ( source ) The first piece I read was 7 Different Types of Game Testing Techniques by Niranjan Limbachiya. The gaming industry is growing constantly, and game developers often feel like they need to get their games out faster than other to achieve a better response. But this is not really the smartest move as the consumer has the final decision whether the game was rushed or it wasn't simply ready to come out yet. This can of course lead to major dips in sales for that particular game. So this is why game testing is a vital step in the process as it can catch errors or bugs from a whole new pair of eyes! There are major risks when it comes to game testing, this can be a nervous time for the game developer as it could be simply that their game isn't entertaining enough or unique enough...or it could be down to that their game has poor visuals/audio etc. They need to ensure all these factors are covered before they pass it on for game testing. Introduction to Linda's Life!

 Introduction to...ME! what were your biggest accomplishments last semester? - My biggest accomplishment from last year was that how I got through my first year of college from just sitting in my bedroom. Looking forward to being on campus for the years to follow.😁💜 Did I travel over the break? - Yes. I went to Croatia to a music festival called "Dimensions" it was amazing.   Beta So we are nearly at the end and I am so happy already seeing my game come together. This week was the week I needed to add the little details to add to the experience of the game, this included: Adding a Main Menu to my game. I added a button on the players screen so they can pause, or restart the game etc. I then enlarged the button icons after building and running my game as they were smaller then I imagined.  I tested out different textures on my ball and finally decided on the chosen skin. I added a few more gems to the game. I made sure you could trace your steps back easily incase you missed a gem and you don't want to restart all over again. screenshot from my game screenshot of chosen texture screenshot of skin I didn't like in the end.
